You only have a single day to defeat them, or protagonist Colt will remain stranded here until the end of time, subject to eternal torture. Yet in reality, it actually has far more in common with stealth games like Hitman. Sticking players in an endless cycle of death and rebirth, at first glance, Deathloop may feel a bit like the video game equivalent of Tom Cruise’s bloody time loop flick, Edge of Tomorrow. Developed by Dishonored and Prey creators Arkane Studios, Deathloop is a time loop-set adventure that channels a giddy blend of ‘60s cool, awesome abilities and gun-fu with the pulpy panache of a Tarantino flick. ![]() The best part? It’s unlike anything else you’ve played. Announced back in 2019, this time-bending, sleek-looking shooter is absolutely dripping with style.
